Can you add New Items to be picked up like stone on beach?

Hello
i am trying to add sand as a resource in my as we are all not stupid you find sand on beaches so i am wondering if i can add a new thing to spawn in the world and be picked up
maybe like little sand pebbles on the beach i do not know how to add these…

You can probably look at how the stones are used as foiliage, then edit the mesh and received item.

stones as foilage where is the file for this or what is it called?

Basically HOW DO I EDIT FOLIAGE TO ADD A NEW RECEIVED ITEM

I dont know this off of my head, ill check when I have access to the dev kit later.

I think it has foiliage settings, I’d assume its in there somewhere.

Also, you’ll need to assign a HarvestComponent to the foliage, and it must be set to be harvested with the use button - look at RockHarvestComponent for specifics (any parameter involving “usable” is what you’re after).

I’m just wondering as I read this. Talking about sand it might make sense to just make it pickupable whenever you stand it.
Basically the way you can drink water while standing in it. No idea how that works though but might be worth looking into that
mechanic.
