Can we import autocad file

Hi everyone,

I was using Lumion with autocad and when i wanted to change something on my project, i complete my works on autocad and refresh it on lumion, then everything go normally. Is there a refresh button on unreal engine? I could find less architecture tutorials about UE4 and i really liked the “LED LIGHTS” “SHADOWS” etc.

So i have 2 main questions about UE4;

1 - Can we use autocad with UE4 and able to refresh it with changes?

2 - Can we add ambience lights on UE4, like secret lights LED?

This program is usually using for game production but i actually want to learn it for architectural visual. I couldnt find too much videos for tutorials, i hope you to upload

Regards

There is no direct CAD to UE4 workflow. UE4 can only import .fbx and .obj so you’ll need to use blender/max (or similar) to make your geometry ready for unreal!
You can definitely make ambience lights in ue4.

Hi,
Autocad can export natively .fbx, but i dont know about UVs output.
