Gonna put this in requests as well because I don’t know how to do but wondering if anyone knows a way to hide players to one class/team/agent and show them to others?
Im sad to say that Unfortunately you can’t make players hidden for only specific people it’s all or nothing.
With that being said if you don’t mind utilizing meshes that represent a player you do have some leeway in that department, obviously there are some negatives like the movement with verse not feeling as fast as fluid but its the closest I can think to a solution.
Then what you could essentially do is Have a material scalar parameter thats like Team=1 and in the material itself have it so if team=1 the material has full transparency and thus cant be seen. And then use Cinematic sequence devices per team that change that value accordingly. Hope this makes sense, if you have more questions let me know.
Again just clarifying this is not gonna be as smooth as having a normal fortnite character but I could see it being usefull if your game is something like hide and seek
Thanks for the info, unfortunately that workaround doesn’t work for me as my game is a racing one in first person, and hiding player characters is key for the fps driving not looking horrible. However it means when players switch to fps mode and hide they can’t be shot at by other players
