The Ranged Weapon Modifier Device would be a device similar to the Melee Designer Device, but could only modify existing weapons.
So if you were to drop a weapon onto the device, it would allow you to modify the stats of that weapon. (It would only modify that weapon of that rarity)
It would allow you to modify the damage, structure damage, critical damage, magazine size, reload time and fire rate of that weapon.
Those modifications would apply to any instance of that specific weapon and specific rarity during gameplay.
The Ranged Weapon Designer Device would be a Ranged Weapon equivalent to the Melee Designer Device.
It would also only function by having a weapon dropped on it (This is to set its model, base stats, base rarity and behaviour)
The Device would allow you to modify the stats of the Custom Ranged Weapon (Damage, Fire Rate, Reload Time, Critical Damage/Critical Multiplier, Structure Damage and Magazine Size) and spawn a single instance of that custom weapon to be placed into a device such as an Item spawner, Item Placer, Vending Machine, Supply Drop Spawner, Item Granter or Earth Sprite.
That custom weapon can be given a custom name and custom rarity (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic or Exotic)
It cannot be given a custom icon! It uses the base weapon’s icon.
So the Ranged Weapon Designer Device is a more advanced version of the Ranged Weapon Modifier Device and is a Ranged Weapon Version of the Melee Designer Device.
Please add this, I’d like to mess with custom items I made, I’m unable to use UEFN and I’m sure other 1.0 Creators would love this!
