Can translation tools move near mouse pointer?

Is it possible to have the translation tools move near your camera or mouse pointer when editing static meshes or brushes in the level editor?
When using different layouts it seems the translation tools only snap to the center of the brush as seen in images:

You can see here, I can easily see the translation tools on the top view when i’m zoomed out:

When I zoom in for more precision, such as scaling or translating using the tools, the tool is no longer in my view, instead remaining in the center, forcing me to move my camera away from the point of focus I need.
