Hello all,
I’m am new to unreal, but I have been a programmer for 4 years or so. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use other skeletons with their own animations in coordination with the dynamic combat system. Does anybody have some insight that could help get me up and running?
I’m trying to get one of the animals from the quadreped pack to work with the AI that is already in place.
So far, I have
- tried creating montages from the animations.
- I have tried making a separate AI BP just for it using the same method as the original.
- I tried removing the weapons and keeping the sockets.
But it seems like no matter how I tweak it, it doesn’t want to animate. I got it to move towards the player, but it never animates nor attempt to damage the player.
