I’ve been trying to install the latest version Unreal Engine for a while now, but the download fails at ~46% and I get the IS-0005 error while my internet seems to be completely fine. I also tried installing some older versions, but the only one that worked was 4.0.2. Different versions stop at different percentages, and I’ve tried reinstalling the epic games launcher but with no results. I saw someone talk about changing the Engine.ini value but I’m not quite sure what exactly to change, and that post was last updated in 2021. Does anyone have any solutions or things I can try?
Getting the very same error, but right off the bat, before the downlaod even starts. I didn’t change anything or even use the editor for a month. Now my. installed version of 5.4 no longer works, and also most of my assets are not appearing in my vault either; super weird. is this just me|?
This error indicates that there is no internet connection. Make sure that you have a stable internet connection. Additionally, this is just a guess but you may be using a VPN and they might not be supported my EGS.
I’m also have this problem, but i have stable internet connection and in steam or battle net all work perfect. Download is jerky, and error appears only when the download drops to 0 mb/s
