Can someone explain to me why the Control Rig Node, "Distribute Rotations" adds continuous rotations to bones instead of a fixed value? What is the purpose of this node?

I’ve tried this node thinking I can “distribute” the rotations for a series of bones (for an animal tail), well it doesn’t work. I’f I’m adding a rotation to this node the bones keep spinning.

So it behaves like an animation node or something, it keeps adding the rotation value to the exiting bone rotation and we have this spinning effect.

Is this how this node actually works or is a bug?

To confuse this there is a drop down menu to select an ease curve type, which may indicate that this node may actually be for animation :man_shrugging:

If yes, what could be the use cases scenarios, I can’t think of a single one.
