Can Posting 25+ Maps and Receiving Many Rejections Affect My Views or Player Count?

I started publishing maps around July 2024 and have created around a total of 27 maps so far. I’ve experimented with a variety of map types, primarily to see how they would perform. By “different types,” I mean things like red vs blue maps, AI thumbnail maps, box PvP maps, original maps, etc…

Additionally, I’ve faced a significant number of publication or update rejections—possibly around 50, though I haven’t kept an exact count—across various maps. I’m curious whether these rejections could negatively impact my overall statistics

Lastly, I’d like to know if deleting, unpublishing, or hiding my maps could potentially improve my chances of going viral again

Hello Zelytow,

Here’s a good Q&A: Fortnite Discover: Your Questions Answered

I don’t imagine number of rejections is tied to discover algorithms. (But if you’re a ‘problem creator’ acting in bad faith I think you could get suspended for number of rejections?)

I also imagine that each map is treated individually (so unpublishing maps would have no bearing on your discover algorithm?)

I think you have the right to experiment and publish as many maps as you want, but also I think that many reasonable people will consider a flood of similar maps as a blight on the ecosystem.
