Can only build for android

Hi,
I have a project which I can build for android. No errors and the game runs nicely on my phone.
If I try to build for html5 or win64 it will never finish. It will just get stuck at the same point every time.
See my build .
What can I do to fix this? Android will finish building in 2-3 minutes. I once tried running the html5 build for 20 hours with no luck. I have engine 4.8.3 installed through the epic games launcher on windows 10.

Here is the line it will get stuck on for win64:

MainFrameActions: Packaging (Windows (64-bit)): UnrealBuildTool: Creating library C:\Users\\Documents\Unreal Projects\Hanoitest 4.8\Binaries\Win64\Hanoitest-Win64-Shipping.lib and object C:\Users\\Documents\Unreal Projects\Hanoitest 4.8\Binaries\Win64\Hanoitest-Win64-Shipping.exp

I can build tappychicken for win64. That will finish in 1-2 minutes so it has to be something specific to my project. Any suggestions on what I can try? Any help much appreciated.

I guess tappychicken isn’t relevant since it is blueprint only. Downloaded the StrategyGame example which has c++ code. I have the same problem there. After an hour of packaging it is still stuck at creating library.

Blueprints are working properly. Only the projects with c++. I did try preview 4.9, but I can’t use it since play services aren’t working there. I can test if I can build on 4.9 later today.

Hey Pesk92,

Have you tried this on 4.9 Preview yet? If not, could you please try and see whether or not you have the same issue? Also is this only happening with projects that also contain c++, but blueprints are working properly?

I am moving this weekend and won’t have time to test more today. So I might not be able to test more until next week.

Hey ,

Thanks for letting me know that you’re moving. Let us know when you’re able to test on 4.9, the release was this morning. I look forward to hearing back from you.
