Can not run a game after packaging

Good day!

If I create any project and set project name as default “MyProject” I can package it and use it well. But if I will name a project any else name but “MyProject” (“BlaBlaProject” or “WhateverProject” for example) and package it - the exe file (“projectname”.exe) will open forever (endless loading with nothing happens)

Create FirstPerson example named “MyProject” - packaging and work. Create FirstPerson example named “WTFProject” - packaging, endless loading of exe file

Same for ThirdPerson/ Vehicle/ etc…

How could I fix it?

I have this same problems. First I thought that is problem with packaging for windows 64-bit, but this same exe file is running well on other computers. I have this problem a few weeks ago. Previous compilations run correctly.
I have question, Did You try reinstall engine or maybe restore it to the default settings?

I have the same problem!
If you do not change the basic name when you create project, then after packaging it starts normally. But if you enter any other non-standard name, such as “TheProject”, then after packaging at startup .exe file the game will run indefinitely.
And my UE version is 4.10 too.

HI, I solved this problem on my computer. I uninstalled my antivirus software (in my case it was Avast Antivirus). Now EXE file, after packaging open without problems.
