Can not open/use console on Android/Gear VR

Up until 4.16 (and 4.16.1) I could easily debug my Gear VR project while using HMD by simply connecting my bluetooth keyboard to my phone and while in VR, I’d open console with ~ key and type all kind of stat cmds (and take raw screenshots).

I no longer can use console - while Esc key and PrintScreen key still work, ~ key doesn’t do anything. I added input mapping for the console in the project settings for some other keys and that didn’t help at all.

So now I can not debug performance as I used to :frowning:

P.S. Android 6.0.1, Galaxy S6 phone, API 23 in the project settings

New development - apparently when multiview + multiview-direct are enabled, no 2D screen rendering stuff works (Print Screen doesn’t work, console doesn’t work, who knows what else doesn’t work).
