how about UE 5.2?
hi I’m having the same issue installed UE 5.2 and i can’t intall metahuman plug in
do i need to istall 5.1 too ? O.O
This does not work – it thinks it is already installed. Although it is not. It isn’t even an option to “install to engine” in Marketplace.
I’m doing this on Windows. Maybe it’s something to do with some file that tells Unreal what plugins have been installed. I’ve searched everywhere – I can’t find any mention of Metahuman though. So there is nothing to re-initialize as far as I can tell.
So I’m going to have to do this in 5.1.1 for now.
NOTE: specifically, I’m using Windows 5.2.0 version. No Metahumans mentioned anywhere.
Same problem here but on a MacBook Pro (M2 Pro) Ventura 13.4
The programme is buggy AF - I hope for future solutions
I’m a Nube beyond belief and i’m making a new cinematic… It’s been a challenge to say the least, but after hours of trying to find solutions, “we” (“Nubes”), get stricken with a post where someone like you have provided the answer to the very thing that was holding up all creativity / production… For this, I sincerely thank you… :)))
I found a solution. I was having trouble finding the plugin inside the epic launcher, (not sure why). Here’s my solution. MetaHuman Plugin in Code Plugins - UE Marketplace
first verify your engine in epic launcher then open unreal editor and test again
It is still not working. MetaHuman Plugin is still “unavailable”. What can I do? It used to be ok before I added the second MetaHuman Plugin. But I can’t remove it.
Reporting from March 2024, Installed the plugin multiple times. Marketplace states that it’s compatible with UE 5.0 - 5.4. I’m using 5.3.2 but no matter how many times and what methods I use to try and trick UE to see the plugin, it’s still nowhere to be found.
If you see unavailable warning go to your Library and from there click on little “!” button
it will guide you to download page then select the version of unreal engine you are using
