I needed to reorient my Static Mesh but can’t update the Skeleton or Skeletal Mesh with the new Static Mesh. Is this possible?

Or do you mean when you manually assign a new skeletal mesh to your character it gets distorted?
I’ve used the “Convert to Skeletal Mesh” and can’t import the updated Static Mesh.
Could you explain what’s going on exactly?
If you’re talking about the convert to skeletal mesh feature that comes with the skeletal mesh editing tools plugin, then what’s up with importing And what do you mean by updating? Are you trying to assign your model a different skeletal mesh? If so, is that a compatible model? Or again, if your goal is to update the skeletal mesh in runtime, you can check out the tutorial I provided.

Using the Plugin I’ve created the Skeleton and Skeletal Mesh but I made a correction to the Static Mesh used to create them which when I reimported it did not update the SK or SKM. So far I haven’t found a way to update the SK and SKM to the new Static Mesh.
Is there no solution for this?
