Can Mocap gloves alone drive any arm animation?

This may be a dumb question… If you are using mocap gloves (like Rokoko) is there a way to also have them drive the arm/shoulder movement of the Metahuman’s character or do you have to have the full body suit as well to do that?
The reason I ask is bc we are looking at doing some head and shoulders stuff with a couple of the characters and would like to not have to hand animate the hands, but company is currently reluctant to invest in the full body suit.
I kind of think I know the answer but just wanted to see if there was anything I was missing in terms of tricks or workarounds.

Without any kind of tracking device ( vive tracker, IMU, and so on ) you won’t be able to get any location data from the gloves alone.
You need to have something on the hands that allows you to track them, and by doing so you’ll be able to drive the elbows ( based on hands orientation ) and eventually also the torso rotation, but for the head you also need something that can track it.

So you can either get a suit or trackers to drive what you need, or hire someone with the equipment that will create the animations for you to use.
