Can join but can't host session in editor (standalone)

Hey guys,

I am using the advanced sessions plugin and was wondering why I can join someones session using the editor but can’t host a session using the editor.

Hosting a session somehow only works when running the packaged .exe

Using the editor I can still invite people and it successfully creates a session, but when people “successfully” join it, they don’t enter the current listen Level.

I think you should post this in the Advanced Session Plugin Thread, but maybe the plugin have “problems” to send the lobby informations to the Steam Servers while you play in editor? I know that you have to start you game in standalone mode to enable steam while playing in editor, but maybe this is just a limitation or a bug which the creators didnt find yet :slight_smile: ?
