Can image ajustments affect game's memory consumption?


Let’s say, I’ll take a lot of my 2D visual assets, and apply some adjustments for each of them inside the editor (for example, modify brightness, brightness curve, vibrance, etc in images’ details). Can such adjustments affect game’s memory consumption on a mobile device? Is it good practice to use such adjustments, or it’s better to achieve final image quality before import?

Resolution and compression method are all that would change the memory consumption on device.
