Can I use *.uasset files in Unity3d?

I’ve buy a music pack in the marketplace. Now I have *.uasset files on my computer.
Can I use them somehow in my project, which I make in Unity3d?

Or I can use this files only in Unreal Engine?

Simply, No. .uasset is how engine internaly pack things.

Also most if not all items on marketlace have a licence to be used in unreal engine 4 only.

I can not fully agree with @wmbuRn , because you CAN use it Unity.

But not .uasset files - you can Export content from UE.

Yes, it will be breach of the license agreement. @wmbuRn answered it correctly.

But my answer can be useful for you, if you plan to export your own assets, not from UE Marketplace.

For example:

The License agreement states you can only use the assets bought off the Unreal Engine Marketplace in UE4. While technically you can export and use them it would be a breach of the legal agreement.

Hello, .

I knew about breach of the LA.

But I faced, that @dmitry.kozyr could export data not from assets from UE Marketplace , but he can export data from his another assets.

Yes, it will be breach. But for educational purposes my answer is correct.

I suggest to accept my answer as correct, but I will edit my answer with adding to it note about potential breach of the LA.

OK?

Hey guys!

So according to our policy you are free to used the Marketplace content in any way you like, with the exception of any specific Epic Games content (ex: the Open World Demo, anything from the learn tab, etc.). Something you cannot do is resell any UE4 Marketplace content on any other website or marketplace, that means: Do not download a pack and post it somewhere else for purchase or download. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any other questions about this.

Thanks!

Steph
