Can I use Live Link with Maya MASH?


I’m going to join a team where we use Unreal Engine for Live Productions, so I wonder whether or not we can use MASH from Maya in Unreal Engine for Motion Graphics (UE4 or UE5, doesn’t matter).

I’ve successfully established a live link connection between Maya and Unreal Engine. If I try to connect a simple MASH geometry out of cubes it shows up as a single cube, but the instances don’t show up (regardless whether or not I configured MASH using instances or meshes). Is there a simple way to send MASH content over to Live Link? What would I need to do - maybe I can write a simple python script?
