I want to use the academic free subscription, should I delete and recreate my account or can I convert it ?

There’s been a bit of confusion about the academic subscription. An educator can order a number of licenses for their students for free, but it does need to be an educator ordering those keys for their students. For more information/clarification, feel free to read this forum post by Chance Ivey.

Edit: To be clear, the direct answer to your question is ‘Create a new account when your educator gets you a student license.’
