Can I stabilize my VR head mount display?

When making a VR game in Unreal Engine, is it possible to ignore small movements of the head mounted display and stabilize it?
And are those adjustments common tasks in making VR games?

I don’t mind the small shakes, but my boss says it reacts too much to the small shakes and makes me sick…
