I thought I had my mind wrapped around audio volumes and sorting priority, but this problem has been a head scratcher.
I’m using audio volumes to decrease exterior volume indoors when a door is closed. A simple blueprint toggles the exterior audio volume up/down when you interact with the door. The challenge I am facing is this:
I have a room within a room. It complicates things. I want it to function as such: if volume 1’s door is closed, all exterior sound if muffled regardless of volume 2’s door state. I haven’t been able to achieve that. In my mind, priorities would nest audio volumes within each other, but they don’t really work that way - it’s a one or the other type thing.
I just want to make sure I haven’t missed something. Is there a way to set up audio volumes to function the way I’m describing, or am I going to have to figure out a blueprint solution?
