Can I modify the The Game Animation Sample Project for developing a game and publishing it?

Hello, I am an indie game developer who picked unreal engine, without the knowledge of game development, because of its immersive graphics and availability for everyone, that no one offers. I have a question since I started, the question is- Can I use The Game Animation Sample Project to develop a game, if yes ,then should I migrate the animations and character to another project to develop?, or can I use the project itself to modify it and create the game and publish it?

You can do both :blush:

You will be subjected to the standard 5% royalty after 1M$ as normal. You’re just not allowed to use Unreal Engine’s source code or the free assets it provides in other engines.

Make sure to read the Unreal Engine EULA before releasing your project.
