Can I import the Meshes from DAZ3D and or Poser 11?

Hello Guys,

I am tasked with this Project that requires me to meet a certain timeline. I am working on this one creature from scratch, but there are scenarios where I will need to have humans meshes/models doing scripted events driven by whatever means, but the point of my question is this…

Can I import the meshes from DAZ3D Studio and re-target the bones to where it will work within the Unreal Editor and then, in turn, use the multiple tools that Unreal Provides??

I know that DAZ3D Studio supports exporing (OBJ), but will these Meshes work with Unreal Editor?

I also want to use Poser (11) for various things as well to speed up production time lines, so can I use Poser also to Export Meshes and Import them into the Unreal Editor?

Thanks.

I can export FBX from Poser 11 Pro into Unreal.

This is a good tutorial for daz3d to unreal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVN_e6zOHfk . However for animations just google animation retargeting there is a epic games tutorial series about it too.
