goto one animation asset at will,and open the animation editor, and right click at one animation asset in the asset pannel, then click EXPORT, select YES when it asks you whether to export the mesh with the animation.
In the asset browser right-click on the 3rd person character you’d like to export → Asset Actions → Export. This will give you an fbx-File that you may then open in 3ds max
