My work typically involves reusing the same Quixel, Epic, or third-party assets in multiple projects, so it is important to be able to download large assets just once (unless there’s an update) and install into more than one project.
I can’t speak for other platforms, but the Linux native version of the Fab plugin seems to have its own cache in /tmp/ but not to have a user-visible persistent cache whose location I can change or at least know. (The /tmp/ directory in Linux is similar to the C:\TEMP\ folder in Windows, in that it’s not expected to be permanent storage and typically is not included in backups.)
Have I overlooked a way to control this, or is the Fab plugin missing this feature? Thanks!
