Can I buy subscription as a gift for a friend having no account?

I want to buy UE4 subscription for my friend as a gift. He does not have UE4 account yet.
He has his birthday party in the few days from now. Is there an option or workaround how to do this?
So that I would pay it, provide his email and he would get subscription assigned to his email?

It would be great if it was possible.

No currently theres no way to do that, you can only pay for subscribtion from his account. In future there will be more options

It is correct that your friend would need to create his own account, with his own email address and password. You could always gift him a prepaid credit card to cover the cost! :smiley:
