Can Float AnimBP Param track set blend value?

I found the Float AnimBP Param track in Matinee and tried to hook it up to make my character change it’s Aim Offset value when the Matinee tells it to. Is this possible? I am just using the SkelMesh version of the character, since Matinee can’t play Anim tracks on Pawns. The Anim BP is set to work with the same skeleton, and I copied over the Parameter’s name and entered the Blueprint into the Anim Blueprint field.

I’m basically trying to get Aim Offset to work on top of animations in the Anim track. Is this kind of thing possible?

Additionally, Depth of Field doesn’t seem to be working in Matinee, either.
