Can Fab be used to maintain one’s own personal asset library? A 2023 reddit conversation claimed it would be able to, but I haven’t seen any mention of that feature since Fab went live.
No, Fab doesn’t allow to do so.
Their are only 2 Licenses CC0 (Free) and Fab Standard License (Free/Paid).
For Personal Library, you can still use Sketchfab. Only Sketchfab Store (Pink Theme one) was merged with Fab. Sketchfab (Blue Theme one) is still there.

Yes, @G-MAGA is correct. ONLY the Sketchfab Store (marketplace features) have been shut down and merged into Fab for now. Everything else will remain on Sketchfab until further notice.
In a future phase of Fab, we want to offer more of the utility, community, and business features that you’re used to in Sketchfab. This will include the personal asset library use case. There’s no timeline yet, but it will make it to the public roadmap when we’re ready to share more information.
