Can AI recreate a UE5 skill tree? Four builds compared in Blueprints

Hi everyone! I make Unreal Engine Blueprint tutorials, and I tried an experiment: could AI recreate the skill tree I had already built?

I tested four configurations — Sol 6.1 High, Sol 6.1 Ultra, Astra High and Astra Ultra — then compared the projects in Unreal Engine 5, including their gameplay and Blueprint graphs.

Screenshots from the recordings

My original skill tree

Sol 6.1 — High

Sol 6.1 — Ultra

Astra — High

Astra — Ultra

What I checked

  • How closely the interface matches my original tree
  • Buying skills, gold costs and ranks
  • Tooltips, zoom and pan
  • Resetting skills and their dependencies
  • Save/load where implemented
  • Blueprint organisation, build time and plan usage

What stood out
For me, Astra High produced the closest visual result, but its tooltip had layout issues. Astra Ultra was less polished visually, but its Blueprints were better organised and save/load worked in my tests. I show the problems as well as the working parts.

The four experimental projects are linked in the video description if you want to explore their Blueprints. Downloads require free Patreon membership, with no payment. They may contain bugs or unfinished features.

This compares these four attempts rather than establishing a definitive model ranking. Reference timing differed: Sol Ultra received an extra screenshot after asking for one.

Have you tried using AI to build a Blueprint system? What would you change in the requirements or prompting to improve these results?
