[Camp Days] Seeking UE5 Developer / Blueprint Programmer for Vertical Slice | RevShare

About the Project

Camp Days is an atmospheric narrative project built in Unreal Engine 5.3+, centered around camping and travel in Japan.

This is not just a concept — it is a fully prepared project with existing materials.

We have a completed trailer, pitch deck, Game Design Document, IP Bible, visual references, and a clear Technical Specification.

Several major publishers have already expressed interest — I am looking for a technical partner to build the vertical slice needed for presentations.

Already Prepared

:white_check_mark: Complete documented design (GDD + IP Bible + Technical Spec)

:white_check_mark: Narrative structure, dialogue system, and mechanics descriptions

:white_check_mark: Visual references, art style, and ready scene layouts

:white_check_mark: Clear milestone plan with deadlines

:white_check_mark: Legally formal agreement — protects both parties

Who I Am Looking For

Above all — a sensible, reliable person who understands what RevShare means and is ready to invest time without guaranteed immediate payment. Someone who values their own time and respects mine. Someone who understands the spirit of indie development: we are building this together, contributing effort and time as equal partners — not a company paying you by the hour.

It is important that you stay in touch, account for time zone differences, and do not disappear without notice. If you are delayed — let me know in advance. If something is unclear or references are insufficient — ask questions early so the work can be done properly.

Ready to start with a short test assignment: not to judge talent, but to see if our pace, workflow, and approach match.

Technical Requirements

I am looking for a UE5 developer who:

  • Works confidently with Blueprints
  • Can faithfully recreate characters from reference images — experience with MetaHuman, Character Creator, or similar tools
  • Understands triggers, QTE systems, and environmental interaction logic
  • Can assemble provided scenes and mechanics into a cohesive playable experience
  • Meets deadlines, stays communicative, and values transparency
  • Cares about the atmosphere and vision of the project — not just immediate payment

Terms of Collaboration (Under Formal Agreement)

  • Model: Revenue Share — 10% of net revenue from the first deal with a publisher or buyer
  • No upfront pay and no monthly salaries — compensation is issued only when funds are actually received from a sale
  • Timeline: The vertical slice is broken into stages with checkpoints; you will assess the realistic completion timeline based on your skills
  • Rights: Until the first payment, rights to your work remain with you. Once revenue is received, they transfer to me. If no deal is secured within 24 months, your work reverts to you automatically
  • Your Protection: The agreement is legally binding — shared with you for review before signing — scope, rights, and obligations for both sides are clearly defined
  • Scope: This is focused work on the vertical slice — roughly 1–2 months of active involvement. Continuation into the full game will be discussed separately if desired

What You Will Do

  • Set up the UE5.3+ project; integrate provided free assets and your character models
  • Implement core gameplay logic: triggers, scene transitions, dialogue systems, and QTE
  • Assemble three connected scenes into a playable build
  • Deliver the final build + full source/project files
  • All materials, descriptions, and visual references are provided

Why This Is Worth Your Time

:bookmark_tabs: Not a vague idea — full documentation and clear workflow, no chaos

:artist_palette: Established visual style and mood — you build on something solid

:clipboard: Defined scope and milestones — you know what to do and when it is done

:handshake: Written, transparent agreement — everything confirmed, not promised verbally

:rocket: Publishers are already interested — real path to monetization

:counterclockwise_arrows_button: Even if the project does not sell — you keep the finished work for your portfolio
