Camera shake in Sequencer

Hey Folks,

How do I generate a valid CinematicCameraNoise (Camera Anim) to add some shake to my camera in Sequencer, as seen here: A Real-Time Rendered Future: McLaren, NASA, Disney | GDC 2016 Event Coverage | Unreal Engine - YouTube

Thanks

B

Hey I’m just searching this myself and found you can add a camera anim by going to your content browser Add New>Misc>Camera Anim and animating the camera subtly in the translate and rotate. This is basically a matinee which can be added to your sequencer as shown in the video you linked. In sequencer you can right-click the track and play with fade in/out and also loop it.

I’m looking at recording my own natural camera shake and getting it into maya somehow then importing it to unreal.

Hey!

The loop seems to have gotten broken, anyone know if it has moved somewhere else?

it’s a great question. There is no documentation at all, that shows you how to assign a camera shake to a CineCameraActor inside of the Sequencer.

Does nobody know how that works?

Here is another short video that shows that problem:
