Camera sensor width

How can I find out the sensor width for my cameras so I can add them to the database?  If you look online they give you a fraction. Like for example, the Galaxy Note 8 phone has 2 rear cameras. Their sensor size is listed as 1/3.6" and 1/2.55".  Thanks.

If you don’t need this info or the database entry for a very specific reason, RC will still be able to calculate everything properly, even with the yellow triangle…

I ended up  finding something very similar and adjusting it slightly. It seems to work. According to the instructions, if I’m reading it correctly, RC will do it if you are using a 35mm focal length in the EXIF. The Note 8 says 26mm so I tried to get it as close as I could.

Hi Phil,

Towards the bottom of this page it list the widths of a lot of different sensors:

Hi Bill, that’s actually the page I guessed my size from. I know it’s bigger than the iphone but not a lot bigger so I guessed a size between that one and the next one up.
