Hello, i am having a problem regarding one of the cameras i am using in my project.
I was trying to create a system where a player is able to enter and exit a car and for me a true first person perspective is very important so i am using a secondary skeletal mesh inside the vehicle i am working on and to that skeletal mesh i have also attached a new camera object.
I have attached images below but basically how it works is currently when i press E near the vehicle, the player gets attached to the vehicle and set to hidden, however the special skeletal mesh that i put inside the vehicle with it’s camera gets un-hidden.
This works but what happens is that the camera of the mesh that’s inside the vehicle does not face forwards by default and it’s facing direction changes depending on where the player was facing towards prior to pressing E and entering the vehicle. In the video below i also show what happens and how the camera behaves very badly, is there a way to make it so the vehicle skeletal mesh camera always starts off facing straight towards the vehicles front?
