Camera local navigation style?

For my usecase reported in here: https://support.capturingreality.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4405607464348-Export-animation-camera-position-keyframes-Waypoint-planning , it would be very convenient, if I could “navigate camera local”. What do I mean by that?

  1. I would like to translate e.g. 2 meters “up” from my current camera position, so that I can set an animation keyframe every X meters with roughly 60% overlap.

  2. I would like to be able to rotate around myself. While the “set rotation point” feature is nice for navigating around a model, for planning a drone flight, it would be better to easily rotate the camera around its current position (x,y,z coordinate stay the same, but simply rotate camera).

I tried the default, Autodesk and Leica navigation style, but none of them work the way I’d like to have in order to place my animation keyframes the way I like. I’d be nice if you would thus introduce a new navigation style here.

Best regards

Theo
