camera lag

Does anyone know how to get rid of the camera lag in the viewport on ue5.2? I have tried scalability, material quality level, blue print third person camera lag. Nothing is working. Even when creating a level sequence it starts off choppy. Built a new pc and so I have the proper requirements. Anyone else having this issue?

Hey there @Postman1975! Welcome to the community! To clarify, by choppy do you mean framerate is dropping wildly or movement in viewport itself is delayed? Could I see the choppiness in action? It might yield some information.

Movement in viewport is delayed badly. I mean I can’t put meshed exactly where I need them because the lag is so bad. When I used my laptop never had this problem but now on my upgraded pc it’s pretty bad

Hmm, well we can start by trying to verify if it’s visual or processing that’s causing the hit, and work down.

When selecting an object in viewport (ie simple click) does that delay as well or just keyboard or mouse movements?

Could you enter the stat fps command and see if the FPS is tanking while this occurs?

May I know the specs of your desktop?
