Camera GPS Coordinates

Hi all,

Does CR support using the coordinates from an internal GPS in a Camera? We are looking at investing in a new camera system for heritage building purposes and we are considering purchasing a camera with an internal GPS. Therefore the camera locations show be automatic, similar to the drone data.

If so, does anyone have any experience with a particular full frame camera?

Hello Daire, 

Any digital camera with builtin GPS write the location data directly in the image file. So each time you press the shutter the location is stored.  When picture with embedded GPS coordinates is imported to RealityCapture, software automatically reads this information. So is exactly like with pictures from the drone.
