Camera Component greyed out in Sequencer

When I create a Cine Camera Actor and made it spawnable for the level sequence, the attributes under Camera Component, namly Focus Distance or Aperture etc, is accessible through the sequencer. I then animate those attributes and save the project.

Next time I re-open the same level sequence, the Camera Component is turned grey and it seems to have lost its effect (I cannot see that’s taking effect, visually).

My level sequence is nested under Master Sequence if that matters, which I doubt…

Can someone shed some light? It’s been bugging me for a while now.

Is there any chance you did Rebind Possessable References at some point? If you did, it’s this bug Unreal Engine Issues and Bug Tracker (UE-256345) and it’ll be fixed for 5.6. The only workaround I know of right now is to click on the + button to add the camera component again in sequencer and copy the old tracks to the new component.

If you didn’t do Rebind Possessable References, I’d be curious if you have any further clues how you got to that state.
