Camera Collision with Spline Mesh Components

I have a level that uses static meshes and spline meshes. When using the static meshes, the third person character camera collides as expected, but those same meshes don’t block the camera when utilized in a spline, even though other collision works as expected. Is there a utility to add the same properties to the spline mesh that the static mesh has?

3 years with no answer? I find this happens a lot when I google issues with UE and get a link to the forums. More often than not it’s an old post that no one ever answered. Can epic please do something to insure the community is supported?
