Camera clipping in actor editor top view, Collision capsules not moveable

Hi,

This is my first project in UE, so please explain to me as if I am a baby.
I am trying to rig a cape on my character and having to set the collision capsules is proving extremely frustrating and the operating is very klunky, to the point I can not believe this is the standard method and tools.

The immediate issue I have is that the character and capsules are only visible and editable in perspective view. As soon as I switch to top view, my character is clipped in half, using the F and G keys to try focus the camera on the capsule I want doesn’t give the desired result, and sometimes the selected capsule disappear completely. Also, in Top view I am only able to rotate and scale the capsules but not move them. Did I hit a wrong button somewhere? or is this just how UE is?
Searched Google and GPT for answers but found no solution so hoping somebody here can help.
