Camera animation path missing resolution (?)

Hi everyone!

I had a weird camera stuttering show up in my renders from this project. The camera is jumping up and down as if switching the active moving axis from frame to frame. Though it is not all over the sequence, but only at times. Here are two rendered examples:

After debugging the scene quite a bit, I found that the animation path of the camera (as displayed in the viewport) has some strange peaks as if it was missing resolution.

I already tried increasing fps count and adding additional keys, though it should be fine, since the curves in the graph editor are quite smooth.

At this point I welcome any solution or workaround. Thanks in advance!
