So I am making a third person shooter and am having trouble with the camera movements with the character. I have the camera attached to a spring arm and I want it to follow the character when he is crouched and prone but the camera stays at its normal height instead of adjusting to the characters heights. If anyone can help that would be great!
The quickest way would be to simply adjust the relative position of the spring arm when you press Crouch and the revert the change when the character stands.
Drag the spring arm component into your graph and type “Set Relative Location.” Then change the Z position (make it lower). Reverse this on standing up.

I know this is an old post. But this doesn’t seem to fix the problem for me. Or maybe I am just missing something.
Edit: Mine is in first person
