Call events/play animation using timeline

Hi all, I am trying to call an event when a certain time variable is met.

I have a day night cycle working but i want an event to happen at a certain time of day. In my example all I am wanting to do is play a matinee sequence of an object moving up in the y axis when it hits 0.1 on my timeline.

Here is the actual day night cycle blueprint.

And then this is the level blueprint where i cast to the day night cycle. All compiles but nothing happens once the 0.1 variable is set.

And this is a print string i have in place to show that the current time variable is updating.


Any help will be greatly appreciated as I just can’t work out what im doing wrong.


Is anything actually starting the day/night cycle timeline?
