Cache Path too Long, Can't open v4.18

Hi, So I changed the cache location while in UE4’s project editor settings and it crashed when compiling some LODs. After trying to restart UE4 I keep getting an error telling me that my cache path is too long, that i need to change it in*[DerivedDataBackendGraph]. So I learned that i needed to open the “BaseEngine.ini”* file to access that setting, but no matter what i change it too i keep getting the same error. Please help,
