Cable actor to curve

Hi

I want to make cable actor “bend” like this reference.
Point is that cable BENDS.

I did lot of things.
I can move the cable, but it never “bends”.

I adjusted segment counts but it just curved sharply. Not Bended.

I increased segment counts but it just sagged. Not Bended.

Adjusting gravity doesn’t help.
What should I do?

The cable component may be too limited for this. Consider switching to Spline + Spline Mesh Component - you get control over tangents. Also, there is a new convert to polyline node which can further help with granularity and curvature.

Alternatively, intead of SMCs, you can drive mesh particles along splines.
