We have a game we are working on based on Shootergame that we are to the stage of getting the dedicated server working. Unfortunately, it isn’t hosting correctly the way a “hosted game” is and doesn’t listen on the 7777 port when we start it. I have recreated the issues in the default shootergame so I think we are lacking some basic understanding of how dedicated servers work and the documentation is not really helping us (we’ve followed all the tutorials).
What we’d like is somebody who is familiar with the dedicated server process to have a guided tour of our code and give us some direction over a series of webex or skype sessions to help us get past this. We are negotiable on our hourly rate and we will pay after each hour spent on a call with us.
We need someone very familiar with Unreal Engine 4, C++, Shootergame, and dedicated servers.
