C# compatibility with unreal engine 4.9 ?

Hi guys,

We are curious is it enough to only have visual studio 2015 if your not developing mobile apps in other context do we need xamarin even if we are not developing a phone app.

UE4 does not use C# inside it self, only for build tools but for that you need .NET or Mono (if you not using Windows) and Java code is involved in Android. So to develop in UE4 overall you need .NET or Mono
