Job Description:

Are you a passionate and motivated C++/Blueprint programmer with a love for first-person games and a knack for real-time strategy systems? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team and help us put the finishing touches on our upcoming multiplayer-focused game, Spawn Master. Spawn Master draws inspiration from the popular Source MOD Zombie Master and offers a unique blend of first-person shooter and real-time strategy elements.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our development team to finalize gameplay systems and add polish to the game.
Implement and optimize gameplay features using Unreal Engine 4, with a focus on C++ and Blueprint scripting.
Create and fine-tune AI systems to deliver an engaging gaming experience.
Debug, test, and troubleshoot issues to ensure the game runs smoothly.
Work on existing code and make necessary improvements to enhance overall game quality.
Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

Proficiency in C++ programming within Unreal Engine 5.
A strong understanding of Blueprint scripting in Unreal Engine.
Experience with multiplayer game development.
A passion for first-person games and an understanding of what makes them engaging.
Familiarity with real-time strategy game mechanics or a strong interest in learning about them.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Good communication skills to interact with team members effectively.
Additional Information:

Spawn Master is an independent project, and we are self-funded. We are looking for dedicated team members who are open to the possibility of turning this project into something more substantial as we aim for a Kickstarter. While we may not be able to offer a full-time salary at this stage, we are committed to compensating you for your valuable contributions. Flexibility and a passion for the project are what we value most.
