Button displays interaction radius as grey sphere

I have a group of objects that mimic an office directory in a building. It includes a button that when interacted with, triggers a popup dialog that shows the details of the directory. The first group of this setup works fine, so I copy this to every floor of the building.

However, when I start the game, the copied versions display a solid grey sphere the size of the interaction radius for the button. All the button settings are the same as for the original that works fine. Screenshot attached.

I tried adding a brand new button from the Devices folder, but the issue remains. I tried moving the button away from the wall, but no luck.

What’s going on here and how do I fix this?
