The Iron Mason:
wood table, wood floor, wood desk, wood bookshelf, wood fence
With this, of course, just plonking the same material on all of these assets would be a bad idea.
But if you change the UV scale, roughness, and tint ( just for starters ), you’d be amazed at how different things can look
Material instances is a double-edged sword. Because they can have textures as parameters, which means - you’ve got it - more textures.
So you need to get a handle for what’s going on.
If you want, you can migrate an example level to a clean project, and zip it up. Stick it online somewhere, and PM me a link. I’ll take a look.
( ask if you’re not sure about how to do that, otherwise we’ll end up with a very large file )

Do you have NVIDIA Omniverse? Is there a way to share projects and the levels through that?
Also, yes, I’m not sure how to do that.
I know how to migrate assets. Not the entire thing. Or zip it, or where to post it.

I don’t have Omniverse, no sorry
If you make a new, blank project. You can then right click on your level and migrate it to the blank project. Everything needed will go with it.
Then you just make a zip, of the folder with that new project in. ( The folder that has the ‘projectname’.uproject file, and the content folder )
Google drive is as good a place as any.

I’ll have it to you by Saturday evening at the latest!
How would you like me to send you the private link?
Do you have a preference to which UE version I use? I’ve been using 5.1 until the bugs clear from 5.2

You can PM me.
I only have 5.21, so if you want a ‘fixed’ copy back, you’ll need that later

hi, i was wondering did you solve the problem that you have?

Yes, sorry, I was not the one that solved it on my own. The gentleman who I was communicating with on this thread actually did me a giant favor and looked through my file. He fixed it for me, and I’m super grateful. Been meaning to find more people who I can pay to do what he did, because it was extremely helpful.
